Chris has over 15 years of experience working in International Education, received higher educational standards from Dutch university studies and practices assisting clients in strategic and tactical planning in key markets to pursue their agenda, and engage teams specializing in partnership development, project management, and marketing. He has experience with a deep understanding of the international and Chinese business culture.
Before joining VIU, Chris worked for the Embassy of Canada to China. He is an active promoter of Canadian education initiatives in the education market providing the Trade Commissioners Services (TCS) at the Global Affairs Canada, together with an established and well-connected working relationship from his previous experiences with the Canadian education network in China. He worked with TCS is to provide clients with on-the-ground intelligence and practical advice on foreign markets enabling them to make better, more timely and cost-effective decisions in order to achieve their goals abroad, and in particular the China market.
