IELTS, or “International English Language Testing System,” is an international standardized test of English language proficiency. IELTS tests the ability to read, write, speak and listen in English. Universities in countries such as Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Australia use this exam as a guideline to allow students who are not native English speakers to enter post-secondary education.
This course will prepare students for the specific demands of the IELTS test. Students will learn and practice strategies that will help them to perform more efficiently on this set of tests. At the same time, students will improve their academic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
