Tour Highlights
Enroute to Whistler travel the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway with stops at Shannon Falls and the Tantalus View Point (weather dependent). Upon arrival in Whistler you will receive a guided tour of Whistler Village. With 3 full days you have plenty of time to go sightseeing, skiing or snowboarding, or join in any of the other exciting activities like snow tubing, dog sledding, or snowmobiling!

Itinerary
Day 1
- Depart Vancouver from Canada Place
- Travel the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway
- Visit Shannon Falls
- Join your guide for a tour of Whistler Village and the Olympic points of interest
- Check-in to your hotel
- Experience all the festival has to offer with free entertainment and parties!
Day 2
- Meet your guide in the lobby to depart for skiing/boarding
- Option to meet your guide and friends at the Longhorn Saloon to experience the Apres Ski scene. Receive 25% discount on food and a discount on pitchers of beer with your green tour wrist band
- Option to meet your tour guide for an amazing VIP nightclub experience!
Day 3
- Enjoy another full day of skiing or option to participate in other exciting activities
- 4:30pm – Depart Whistler and return to Vancouver at approximately 6:30pm

How to Sign Up
Our activities are available to all current VIU Students. Sign up with the Cultural Connections Team in person in Building 255.
You will need to have your:
- Student card
- Proof of medical insurance (BC Care Card or Guardme Insurance Policy)
- Payment (credit card is the only form of payment taken by DC Tours)
Hours and Locations for Signing Up with Us
Lunchtime Activity Sign Up Booth Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm – 1pm in Building 255 - First Floor International Commons.
Individually Online - Note: Your pickup location will be different from those who sign up with the Cultural Connections Team.
Cancellations
You may cancel your tour at any time by notifying Discover Canada Tours at 1.855.689.8128.
If you cancel your overnight tour:
More than 30 days in advance for tours that are 2-3 days in duration, a full refund will be applied minus a $50 non-refundable administrative fee per passenger. If you cancel within 30 days prior to departure, your tour is 100% non-refundable.
More than 60 days in advance for tours 4+ days in duration, a full refund will be applied minus a $50 non-refundable administrative fee per passenger. If you cancel within 60 days prior to departure, your tour is 100% non-refundable.
If you fail to show up at the meeting spot on time and miss the tour, no refund will be issued. Please check the map and transit schedule well in advance to ensure that you can get to the meeting spot on time.
