Parksville, BC
Trip Information
Come and join Cultural Connections as we head to the outdoors to visit our local neighborhood area of Parksville and Coombs.
We will explore the trails and roaring waterways of Englishman River Falls Provincial Park. Once we take in all the beauty and greenery of the trails and waterfalls, we will go on to visit Little Mountain Lookout Point. Here, we will enjoy some spectacular scenic views of Vancouver Island's Central Island natural region.
Once our hunger begins to take over, we will go on to visit the ever buzzing Coombs Market. At this point, we will get the opportunity to socialize a bit, grab a bite to eat, shop around for some groceries or even for some tasty treats (they have amazing gelato) and if we are lucky, maybe even see the famous Coombs Market " Goats on the Roof" just munching away and doing what goats do best.
Mount Arrowsmith Brewing Co.
After our hikes and market visit, come wet your whistle and join us as we head over to Mount Arrowsmith Brewing Co. Our visit to the brewery will include : A brewery tour, a flight of Mount Arrowsmith's beer samplers, and heaps of good times with new friends! Mount Arrowsmith Brewing Co. is a family-run collaboration of passionate beer enthusiasts who deemed the communities of Parksville & Qualicum Beach were in dire need of great locally made craft beer.
