Featuring Marafani World Beat.
Marafani World Beat is a Victoria-based West African fusion band led by Alseny "Michel" Diallo, a master Djembe player, singer and composer originally from Guinea. Marafani combines both traditional and contemporary sounds from West Africa and beyond to fuel their high energy performances that are known to fill dance floors wherever the go.
The series is a proud partnership between VIU Students' Union (VIUSU) and @VIU Cultural Connections (International Education).
