Itinerary:
Day 1: Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal – Whistler
10:20am - Meet your guide at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal
- Depart from Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal to Squamish
- Travel the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway with a stop at Shannon Falls
- Enjoy a guided walk to the falls
- You’ll have 1.5 hours to explore the Main Street of Squamish lined with lots of shops and restaurants including The Back Country Brewery or Cliffside Cidery.
- Later meet your guide to check into the HI Whistler and check into your hostel.
4:30pm - Free time for sightseeing/Dinner. Guide will give recommendations.
- This evening, option to join your guide at one of Whistler’s many Pubs/Bars. Whistler clubs currently not taking reservations due to Covid Restrictions, but guides can assist in trying to find space at the bars, as all bars still have first-come, first-serve availability.
Day 2: Whistler – Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal
- Enjoy a full day in Whistler to explore the Village or optional outdoor activities such as bungee jumping, E mountain biking, Zipline, the SSLC Cultural Centre, The Scandinavian Spa, or hiking at some of the nearby lakes or trails.
- Before your activity today, be sure to check out of your hostel and store your luggage until departure.
- 4pm – Meet the guide in the hotel lobby with your luggage. Depart Whistler Village and travel to Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal
- 6pm – Arrive at Horseshoe Bay and check-in for your 6:35pm sailing

Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal (6750 Keith Rd, West Vancouver, BC V7W 2V1) - Look for the white bus with Discover Canada Tours logo and tour guides wearing bright green!

How to Sign Up:
Our activities are available to all current VIU Students. Sign up with the Cultural Connections Team in person in Building 255.
You will need to have your:
- Student card,
- Proof of medical insurance (BC Care Card or Guard.me Insurance Policy)
- Payment (credit card is the only form of payment taken by DC Tours)
Hours & Location for Signing Up with us:
Front Reception Desk on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am – 1pm in Building 255 - Second Floor or by appointment (see contact information below)
Cancellations:
You may cancel your tour at any time by notifying Discover Canada Tours at 1-855-689-8128.
If you cancel your overnight tour:
- Up to 30-days prior to your scheduled tour departure you can receive 100% credit to rebook to another future tour, or receive a full refund less 10% which can be used as credit for future travel
- Between 30-15 days prior to your scheduled tour departure: 100% credit to rebook to another future tour, non-refundable
- Within 14-days prior to your tour departure, your tour is non-refundable, non-transferable
