Do we have an adrenaline-infused fun-packed weekend prepared for you!
This June 11, come join us as we will be heading  a half hour north of Nanaimo to visit the beautiful town of Parksville to enjoy our own version of fast and furious as we will head off go-karting! T
You will also be able to finesse your laser-tagging skills! pew, pew! 👽🚥🔫👾🚥🔫 It doesn’t get any better than this to truly kick off some summer fun! 

so come on down and enjoy some fast turns and some laser dodging, youll also get time to socialize, eat and take it nice and easy.

What to wear

• Appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and for walking/running
• A hat in case its sunny

What to bring:

• Face mask (optional - not required, but recommended)
• Water bottle
• Sunscreen 
• Snacks & lunch ( or money to buy food, snacks)
• Umbrella (in case it rains)
• A backpack to carry all your items
• Camera

Meeting Location: 

VIU Building 255, Main Lobby (second floor) at 10:15 am

Trip Includes:

Round-trip Transportation to all our sites, guided trail visit to Englishman River Falls, Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park, & free time at Coombs Country Market

How to Sign Up

Our activities are available to all current VIU Students. Sign up with us in person, next to the Front Reception Desk in the "Glassroom" on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm – 1:30pm in Building 255 - Second Floor.

You will need to have your:

1. Student card,
2. Proof of medical insurance (BC Care Card or Guard.me Insurance Policy)
3. Payment (cash is currently the only method of payment for activities)

Waiver Form

Please read our general waiver form for VIU group activities in the attachment section below. All participants are required to read and sign the waiver before the start of the trip. We will provide a paper copy for you to read through again and sign the morning of the trip.
