Resources for Faculty and Staff

Vancouver Island University is actively supporting curriculum and university programming that is international in nature and provides students with the attitudes, skills and knowledge necessary to perform effectively (professionally and socially) in an international and inter-cultural environment. By providing funding for faculty and staff to explore Travel and Program Development opportunities that work towards VIU's internationalization goals, providing guidance and frameworks for the facilitation of visiting international scholars, and linking faculty to available resources for developing overseas programs, we are supporting VIU faculty and staff as they foster a sense of global perspective in relation to their work and the programming that is offered to VIU students.

Global Engagement Grants

VIU's Global Engagement Grant Program is designed to support VIU faculty and staff with funding towards Travel, Program Development, and International Work Opportunity initiatives that support VIU's internationalization goals. Through it's three separate grant streams, VIU's Global Engagement Grant Program provides flexible funding aimed at supporting VIU faculty and staff as they bring a global perspective to the classroom and campus.
