This is an opportunity for international students to ask questions that relate to their needs and experience at VIU. Also an opportunity to learn and hear from each other, and Centre for International Education Staff.

Different government authorities are dictating rules impacting travel and entry to Canada. Information is changing as COVID -19 develops. This session is intended for students who currently are out of Canada and plan to return soon (Apr-Sep). Learn about actions you need perform, documents you need to prepare, regulatory bodies to inform, and tools to use.

This session is intended for graduating students who will be applying in summer for Post-Graduate Work Permit. it will cover PGWP eligibility, time frame, and supporting documents. It will also cover eligibility to work during application processing i.e. transitioning from student to worker status.
