There is an expression in English, “Time is Money”. In this session we combine the two to look at ways of budgeting your time and your money to make the most of your VIU experience. The session will discuss time related concepts, prioritizing, and keeping track of and fulfilling daily tasks as well as how to establish an appropriate financial budget to meet your needs.

Immigration Documents - What You Need to Know to Study, Work, and stay in Canada:  The conditions imposed on study permit and VIU enrollment status determines your ability to study and work in Canada in addition to eligibility of Post-Graduate Work Permit.

International Student Orientation Welcome: This is the first session of our Smooth Sailing: International Student Orientation Week of Welcome for all new international students at VIU. Join us as we introduce you to some important information, get to know a little about you and where you are from and update you on how to navigate the entire orientation programmed with events running the week of January 4. It is a great way to start your first semester off in the right direction.
