Case Studies: Supporting Students and Having Difficult Conversations

Session Duration: 1.5hr

Feedback from previous homestay host trainings indicated that host families would like an opportunity to explore more case studies and scenarios. Hosts will be able to submit questions or cases that they would like discussed before the session. Hosts will be able to learn how to problem solve and address potential challenges they might face and determine the supports available. Staff from the Homestay department, counselling, and advising teams will be there to explore cases through roundtable interactions.
