We have lots of options for students to explore,  and these include different hikes within Pacific Rim National Park and the Wild Pacific Trail down in the town of Ucluelet. Normally the group goes out for dinner on the Saturday night, but this is optional. We stay at the Ecolodge in Tofino and it has a full kitchen.  Breakfast is provided on the Sunday morning!   Sleeping is shared (bedding provided), so there will be several people per room. However, males and females will be separated.  What to wear: Bring clothes for warm and cold weather A warm sweater and a light jacket (waterproof jacket if possible) Warm pants (if you have waterproof pants you may want to bring them) Appropriate footwear (running shoes, hiking boots, or gum boots) What to bring: Groceries for the weekend: food for 2 lunches and 1 supper Raingear, jacket and pants Additional warm clothes for before and after a full day of being outside This includes a fleece type jacket Water bottle Lunch and snacks for the day Money for coffee stops/dinner while on route, or dinner Saturday evening Towel A pillow is nice for the long ride in the school bus (bedding is provided by the Ecolodge for the night) Personal iPod or MP3 player If using glasses then please bring a retraining strap for them A backpack to carry your items Optional items include: Toque or warm hat A sun hat, or ball cap Sunglasses Sunscreen Meeting Location  VIU Building 255 at 8:00 am Trip Includes: Transportation to and from Tofino, VIU provides all the other required equipment (the Ecolodge will provide your bedding). We have extra jackets and some rain pants. If you prefer to use your own gear then please bring it with you.
